Brique par brique
Mission/mandate/about the organisation
Brique par brique is a community land trust that builds community-led housing, cultural, and social infrastructure to support belonging, collective care, and long-term affordability in Montreal. Rooted in Parc-Extension and led by the needs of residents and grassroots groups, we create spaces and programs where communities facing systemic barriers can access support, build relationships, and shape more equitable futures.
Areas of interest that can be explored through the internship
Brique par brique offers hands-on internships across a range of community-led initiatives that combine arts, culture, communications, housing, and social innovation. Interns may contribute to projects such as community festivals, storytelling and documentary production, digital communications, event coordination, placemaking, research, circular economy initiatives, affordable housing development, and community engagement. Working alongside an amazing multidisciplinary team and many local community partners, interns gain practical experience while contributing to initiatives that strengthen belonging, cultural expression, and community-led development in Montréal.
