L'Atelier d'artisanat du centre-ville
Mission/mandate/about the organisation
L'Atelier d'artisanat is a non-profit community organization based in Montreal that promotes mental health, social inclusion, and socio-professional participation through arts and crafts. For over five decades, we have created accessible and welcoming spaces where individuals can develop creative skills, build confidence, strengthen social connections, and explore pathways toward personal and professional growth.
Our programs combine artistic practice, community engagement, learning opportunities, and individualized support. Participants work with a variety of artistic and craft-based disciplines while developing transferable skills such as collaboration, communication, project planning, and self-expression.
L'Atelier values creativity, inclusion, diversity, and participation. We regularly collaborate with artists, community organizations, cultural partners, volunteers, and students to create meaningful learning experiences that benefit both participants and the broader community.
