Mission/mandate/about the organisation

For over 40 years, the International Festival of Films on Art has celebrated the richness and diversity of the arts and cultures in all their forms, showcasing the best films on art and the creations of artists from all over the world. Every March in Montreal, the festival offers a rich program of 200 films from over 40 countries. Active year-round, thanks to a vast network of local and international cultural partners, FIFA strives to promote the work of artists in the fields of film and video, and to support the creation, distribution and access to films about art.
