Whether your objective is to persuade a colleague, or to sway a client to your point of view, your brilliant ideas will only be considered if others are open and receptive to them.

Join two-time Concordia alumna Lisa Mylocopos to learn how to leverage your communication skills to gain your audience's attention, generate interest in what you have to say, and influence others.

Lisa Mylocopos, BComm 83, BA 85

Executive education and communications consultant

In addition to her BComm (Quantitative Methods, Marketing) and BA (Economics) from Concordia, Lisa also holds an MBA from McGill University in Business Strategy and Marketing, and a Certificate in Digital Marketing.

She is a communications consultant, whose career-long passion continues to be communication that connects — whether it is to inform, influence, educate or sell.

For more than five years, Lisa was an Executive Education Advisor with Concordia University’s John Molson Executive Centre. Her role included assessing the needs of corporate, not-for-profit, high net worth clients and industry partners, and proposing and developing customized learning solutions for them.

Lisa also has nearly 15 years of experience with BMO Bank of Montreal, having worked in both Toronto and Montreal. She was responsible for national marketing and communications programs and events, as well as training sessions, digital content and collateral to prepare specialized sales forces for campaigns, and new product rollouts. Lisa collaborated and negotiated with cross-functional, multi-cultural, internal and external stakeholders, to bring programs, projects and initiatives to fruition.
