Laboratory for Sensory Research

The Laboratory for Sensory Research is located at the John Molson School of Business and funded by the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI). Research activities at the lab center around sensory aspects of marketing. The lab focuses on experimental research on the effects of visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and gustatory cues on consumers’ perceptual and behavioral responses to products, brands, and retail environments. 

The Laboratory of Sensory Research is a platform for collaboration and exchange among researchers exploring the senses, and training of MSc and PhD students in the domain of sensory marketing.


Prospective students

Graduate students who are currently enrolled in the MSc or PhD program and who are interested in conducting their thesis research in the domain of sensory marketing are invited to send an email describing their research interests and experience to sensory@concordia.ca.
