Research Assistant – Research-Creation Exhibition of the Banal collective

Hourly Rate:

·      Undergraduate: $19.45 per hour
·      Masters: $24.95 per hour

Responsibilities will include:

-       Assist with the installation of phase 1 of an exhibition on Peel Street, Montreal, between January 12, 2026 to January 22, 2026

-       Assist with the installation of phase 2 of the exhibition between February 23, 2026 to 28 February, 2026

-       Assist with the teardown of the exhibition on March 2, 2026

-       Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Carrying equipment, acquiring/collecting exhibition materials, installing artworks, and providing audiovisual support

-       Other research tasks as outlined by Principal Investigator

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

-       Enrolled in a credited program at the University and registered in at least one course, and are not in failed, or conditional standing.

-       Have not been found guilty of academic misconduct at the University.

-       Familiarity with exhibition spaces and installation of artworks

-       Knowledge of audiovisual technologies (e.g. audio recording, visual projection)

-       Ability to carry music and artistic equipment up to 25 kg

-       Ability to speak Spanish (an asset)
