Pi Day!

The department of Mathematics and Statistics held its first Pi Day event since 2019. The event featured two micro-talks about applying data analytics to chess and the Basel problem by our very own graduate students, Stephanie Saputra and Jeremy Schlitt.
This was followed by the announcement of a new math & stats contest – Math & Stats: Do you know what I meme?, and, of course, pie!
