This panel will be a conversation focusing on the perspectives of Indigenous youth who are engaged in climate justice and climate action. They will reflect upon their experiences attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), their activism, and current work within their communities in relation to climate justice and overall perspective on climate justice.
The panel will feature Julie Teiokeráthe Delisle, Karahkwinetha Sage Goodleaf, Ohontsakéhte Montour, and Carlee Kawinehta Loft, and will be hosted by Alicia Ibarra-Lemay and Natasha Blanchet-Cohen from the Youth Network Chair.

Ce panel propose une conversation mettant en valeur les perspectives de jeunes autochtones engagés dans des actions en faveur de la justice climatique. Les panélistes réfléchiront à leurs expériences lors de la Conférence des Nations Unies sur les changements climatiques (COP26), à leur activisme et à leurs implications au sein de leurs communautés. Ils exposeront leur perspective globale sur la justice climatique.
Ce panel réunira Julie Teiokeráthe Delisle, Karahkwinetha Sage Goodleaf, Ohontsakéhte Montour et Carlee Kawinehta Loft. La conversation sera modérée par Alicia Ibarra-Lemay et Natasha Blanchet-Cohen de la Chaire-Réseau de recherche sur la jeunesse du Québec.
Although this conference will be hosted online, most of the participants will be in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), on the unceded lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. If you are not in Tiohtià:ke, you can find out whose land you are on here.
