Conduct scientific research in your first year of university
Discover our Multidisciplinary Studies in Science Minor
Unlike any other program in North America, our minor provides students with a mix of in-class teaching alongside hands-on experience in professional research lab settings, mentored by highly qualified scientists.
Together, students learn how to support and challenge each other; to think broadly across varied disciplines, and to critically evaluate the nature of science.
Ultimately, our mission is to prepare the next generation of scientists to tackle the key issues they'll face throughout their careers.
Science elective for all students
Our Science First-Year Experience course (SFYX 201) offers hands-on experience with the scientific process to first-year undergraduates. This 3-credit course is open to all curious students, or those who wish to join Science College.
