Ordering First aid supplies
Departments who would like to order first aid kits or supplies can now directly order at a store of their choosing and use their University's UCard.
Concordia's prefered supplier of first aid equipment is Équipement Médical Rive Nord (EMRN), a trusted, Montreal-based provider of first aid supplies.
Per CNESST guidelines, the recommended model is the CAN/CSA Z1220-17 First Aid Kit – Type 2 (2–25 workers), available in different sizes depending on the number of people in the department or location.
To request a quote, contact EMRN directly at sq@emrn.ca and reference SKU KIT/CSA 2 N. Ordering through this channel generally offers a more competitive price, and payment can be made by credit card.
Additional information:
- Having a first aid kit on site does not replace calling Campus Safety and Prevention Services.
- Once your kit is available, please contact Environment Health and Safety to obtain a sticker to place on the kit, to report an injury or a near-miss.
- Campus Safety and Prevention Services (514-848-3717) responds with complete first aid kits to all medical calls. For this reason, departments are not required to have their own First Aid kits. However, keeping certain medical supplies on hand is still recommended.
