Course cancellation by Campus Safety and Prevention Services
Should it be necessary for Campus Safety and Prevention Services to cancel a course due to low enrollment, instructor illness, lack of available venue or defective equipment, your registration will be transferred to another course.
We are happy to announce that Campus Safety and Prevention Services has started transitioning training for faculty and staff to the Learning Management System, available on Unity. The goal behind this move is to centralize training information, registration, and delivery, whenever possible.
You can access these courses via My CU Account > Training > Employee Training > My Learning or by clicking on this link to UNITY’s My Learning.
Please note that part-time faculty members linked to the Concordia University Part-Time Faculty Association (CUPFA) and the Concordia University Continuing Education Part-Time Faculty Union (CUCEPFU) will need to register for their courses via the campus safety and prevention services training calendar when between contracts. Students will still need to register for their courses via the training calendar as well.
A feature of the new system is email notifications. Going forward, faculty and staff will receive notifications prior to the expiry of their Campus Safety and Prevention Services training certifications. They will be sent to your Concordia email address. Notifications will remind you to renew your safety training.
