Careers with an aerospace engineering degree
Studying aerospace engineering means learning to design aircrafts and spacecrafts and tackle real-world challenges in one of the world’s top aerospace hubs. You’ll get hands-on experience in cutting-edge labs while mastering flight, propulsion, materials and avionics.
What can I do with my degree? You’ll be ready to launch a career in aviation, government or technology, and contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Skills you'll develop
Your degree builds more than academic knowledge, it shapes the way you think, communicate and collaborate. Throughout your studies, you'll develop key skills for your career, such as:
Functional knowledge:
Design high-performance aircrafts, drones and spacecrafts with a strong understanding of flight mechanics and propulsion systems.
Communication:
Create detailed technical documents for prototypes, systems testing and industry compliance.
Management and organization:
Lead complex design projects, from defining timelines to coordinating resources.
Teamwork:
Collaborate on design projects with shared responsibilities to meet project goals.
Critical thinking and problem solving:
Troubleshoot critical engineering issues, such as material stress and thermal management in aircraft design.
As a Concordia student, you will develop valuable skills to bring to any career opportunity.
