Why did you choose the John Molson School of Business? I chose the MSc program at John Molson because it stands out as one of the few schools offering a research-based program for Marketing. The program provides the unique opportunity to take courses alongside PhD and MBA students, fostering a diverse learning environment. Additionally, the ability to enroll in a wide range of courses through partnered universities allows a broader academic experience and network.

What did you gain from the program? I definitely gained a diverse skill set that has been invaluable in my professional development, including analytical and research skills, project management, and teamwork abilities. Another rewarding aspect was the connections that I made with faculty members, not only within my program, but across various departments. These relationships have provided me with mentorship, guidance, and opportunities even after I graduated.

Favourite place in Montreal: The Lachine Canal

Future aspirations: I’d like to use the skill sets that I’ve gained from the program to excel as a Researcher. In the long run, I’d love to open a small business.

What do you wish you knew before starting the program? I wish I had the opportunity to speak with former graduates to learn how they had arranged their classes and thesis timeline.
