Why did you choose John Molson School of Business?
I wanted to do the MSc in Finance at John Molson School of Business because of my experience working as a research assistant during my undergrad. I had an interesting class and asked my professor if there was anything I could do to get involved in his research. I got lucky and he had space for me to work for him during the summer doing behavioral finance research. I learned a lot of programming skills as well as strong research methodology. He recommended I join the MSc since I liked the research so much and he was right. They really emphasize research and critical thinking throughout the whole program.

What was the highlight of your program?

It was all about coming up with interesting ideas. Every class had a big research component and all of the professors were really keen to guide us in the process of generating ideas and developing them into reliable empirical results. It was all about the science! 3) Montreal is special for a lot of reasons. A big one for me is the food. There are excellent restaurants with chic dining experiences and equally amazing restaurants in dimly lit basements.
