Program structure

John Molson's three graduate CPA programs share a common foundation and core while providing different academic avenues based on your professional goals.

All students build foundational and core CPA competencies before progressing through integrated learning and preparation for the professional order examinations administered by the Ordre des CPA du Québec.

Additional courses and examination requirements depend on whether you want to earn the CPA or the CPA Auditor designation.

Build your core CPA competencies

Complete foundational and core coursework covering areas such as:

  • Financial and non-financial reporting
  • Taxation
  • Assurance
  • Data and analytics
  • Professional judgment and decision-making

After completing the foundation and core courses, you write the Professional Final Exam, part 1. Next, you complete the leadership courses and write the Professional Final Exam, part 2. Our capstone courses prepare you for these CPA Order exams.

Choose a study schedule that works for you

Once you've chosen your CPA path, decide how and when you want to complete it.

Regular evening and accelerated daytime schedule allow you to adjust your pace, while your starting term affects your course sequence and completion timeline.
