This implementation plan outlines the goals developed by the John Molson School which are derived from the four commitments set out in the Learning for Impact strategic plan.
Teach for impact
Launch new programs in MSc in Accounting and Finance Analytics, and Graduate Certificate in Real Estate
Revise the BAdmin program, BComm majors, and professional graduate programs
Enhance teaching on the impact of artificial intelligence and sustainability on business practices
Promote the use of case studies in teaching to provide opportunities for real-world learning
Learner well-being and success
Highlight student experiential learning on program websites
Incorporate a greater diversity of protagonists in case studies used in class and written by our faculty members
Increase the number of Quebec-based cases published outside of Quebec, raising the profile of Quebec business on the global stage
Incorporate more alumni success stories on program websites
Value teaching
With the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), offer workshops to promote and reward teaching excellence
Provide more information on the relationship between course content and post-graduation opportunities
Introduce Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) courses to increase co-teaching, internationalization and greater opportunities for partnerships
Promote human-centred systems
Develop clear and transparent assessment of the learning feedback process (AACSB)
Better use of Moodle pages to develop a sense of community within programs
Participate in the Moodle enhancement project with our expertise and feedback
Participate with the Provost’s office in streamlining curriculum change processes
