Non-profit sector work placements get a boost thanks to $1M gift to Campaign for Concordia

Claude Martel, BA 85, MA 92, PhD 09, director of the Institute for Co-operative Education (Co-op), and undergraduate students Jiashu Ji and Lauren Campbell describe how non-profit sector experience has a positive impact on Co-op participants.

A $1-million gift from the RBC Foundation to the Campaign for Concordia: Next-Gen. Now has helped establish a non-profit sector internships program at Co-op and strengthened the Beat the Odds program, launched by the Experiential Learning Office to better meet the needs of underserved student cohorts.
