The GEMlab will host professor Claudia Sadowski-Smith who will lead the seminar Producing Whiteness Through Format Adaptation: The US Post-Soviet Diaspora on Transnational Reality TV. This talk examines the representation of post-Soviet migration on transnational reality TV and touches upon media and migration studies. The event is free, open to all, and will be held on Zoom.
