Working groups
The Centre sponsors Working Groups made up of Concordia and outside faculty members, post-doctoral fellows, visiting researchers and students from different departments to explore topics from multiple disciplinary angles.
Activities and events
Activities include the discussion of common readings, the presentation of papers or other projects in progress, the organization of visiting speaker visits or symposia or the staging of a performance or an exhibition.
Working groups often lead to the formation of new research teams and lay the ground for further cross-department or cross-faculty collaboration. Each group must have a full-time Concordia faculty director or co-director, and should also have a graduate student acting as coordinator.
Submitting a proposal
To submit a proposal, please find the application form and details regarding eligibility requirements under CISSC Calls.
