Indoor Bike Parking (LB Garage)
Provided to encourage Concordia commuters to use active transportation methods.
The Concordia Indoor Bike Parking Facility is bike racks in a locked cage area located inside the LB Garage — offering a higher level of security for commuters against theft. Our goal is to provide a safer place for your bike, protected from the weather.
All Concordia members can purchase an Access Pass and register to use the facility for authorized bikes (see below). Space is limited and Passes are sold on a first-come basis until capacity is reached. Bike Pass registration comes with access to bike tools and lockers.

LB Bike Cage members receive a discounted fee at Le Gym (EV Building) : $60 for a 4-month gym membership
Bike Pass Terms and Cost
Begins: March 1 Expires: February 28
$85 (plus tax) Flat rate regardless of the purchase date. Fee is not pro-rated.
What you get:
- An Access Card Pass to the Indoor Bike Parking Facility (Locked cage in the LB Garage).
- Access to bike tools in the facility + small individual lockers (lock not included).

Location of Bike Parking Facility
The Concordia Indoor Bike Park Facility is in the underground parking of the (LB) Library Building. Direct entrance to the underground parking garage is on the Mackay street side of the building..
The LB building main entrance is 1400 de Maisonneuve West.
The Indoor Bike Parking Facility is located at the back of the parking lot (see picture below).
Electric bicycles are accepted in the Indoor Bike Parking Facility ONLY if they fit the description of “Power-Assisted Cycle” from the SAAQ. In short, your bike is accepted if it has pedals and muscle power can propel it.
- Electric scooters that do not fit the SAAQ definition are NOT authorized.
- All gasoline-powered vehicles are strictly forbidden.
- Unauthorized bikes found in the Indoor Bike Parking Facility will be removed.
Bike Pass holders not respecting the Indoor Bike Parking Agreement Terms risk having
their Bike Pass cancelled.
Concordia University is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to the contents stored in the Indoor Bike Parking Facility, including contents stored in the lockers.
Concordia University is not responsible for the replacement of any disposed contents which remain in the Indoor Bike Parking Facility past the removal of contents due dates which is at the expiration of the Bike Pass term.
