Rush orders and turnaround time
Turnaround times depend on the type of project, quantity, finishing needs, and current production volume. Same-day printing may be possible for simple, print-ready orders, but it is not guaranteed.
Rush requests are reviewed based on feasibility. Rush fees start at $10 and may be higher depending on the order.
File requirements
File preparation tips
Paper size
Set up your file at the exact final size you want printed. Do not place artwork on a larger page or include multiple items on one page.
Important: Enlarging a small file, such as an 8.5” × 11” file into a 24” × 36” poster, will make the final print look blurry or pixelated.
Bleed and crop marks
Bleed: Add bleed and crop marks to your document if your design extends to the edge of the page. Add 0.125 in. / 3 mm bleed on all sides.
Crop marks: Include crop marks to show where the document should be trimmed.
Colours
CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Use CMYK colours for print and RGB colours for web or digital use.
Images
Use high-resolution images, ideally 300 dpi. Web images may appear blurry when printed.

The main features that you need to know about when ordering standard printing papers are weight, finish, and shininess. In most cases, weight relates to thickness and stiffness. The higher the weight the thicker and stiffer the paper. Text stocks are regular paper and cover stocks are like thin cardboard.
- Coated: gloss, matte, or satin finish for such items as posters, brochures, catalogs, postcards, packaging, and a product that you won't be writing on.
- Uncoated: matte finish for stationery and standard envelopes, inexpensive flyers, and a product you can write on.
- Text weight: thinner paper stock used for items such as letters, book pages and flyers.
- Cover weight: thicker cardstock used for items such as postcards and bookmarks.
