Carpool parking permits
For faculty & staff only
Carpooling can save you money on gas and vehicle maintenance, diminishes carbon emissions and can even reduce stress. In addition, Concordia offers faculty and staff purchasing monthly carpool parking permits at Loyola a $40 savings and at the ER - Monit Building a $70 monthly discount, and preferred parking spaces!
To qualify for a carpool permit
The carpool group must:
- Consist of a minimum two people, each a registered car owner with a valid driver’s license
- Present proof of registration
- Are all members of the Concordia faculty and staff community and all live off campus
- Drive only one vehicle at a time on campus and park in a reserved carpool spot
- Share the cost of the monthly carpool parking permit fee
- Come from different home addresses
- Designate a Carpool Captain
Responsibilities of the Carpool Captain
- Pay the monthly carpool parking fee to Parking Services through payroll deduction
- Collect team members' share of the fee
- Provide Parking Services with the completed parking agreements
- Advise Parking Services of any changes to group members and/or vehicles
- Complete the Carpool Parking Permit Application

Share your schedule, location, and destination, and find potential car-sharing partners by visiting the Carpool channel under Shoptalk in Microsoft Teams.
