Help us create positive change during the 2019 CCE Centraide Fundraiser

Time management

Centraide helps fund over 350 charitable agencies in the greater Montreal area, including those in our downtown and NDG campus neighborhoods. Each year, the organization helps more than half a million people combat issues such as poverty, food insecurity, social isolation, school dropout and other local issues that affect too many people.

Since Concordia’s founding, our community has given generously to support the cause, contributing $164,357 to the Concordia Campaign in 2018. This year for the Concordia Centraide Campaign running between October 22nd and November 29th, we have an opportunity to make a difference again!

In light of this, Concordia Continuing Education has organized several fun-filled fundraising activities which include:



30-minute hatha yoga (all levels)

Bring your own mat, and get ready to align your body, mind and spirit!

Schedule:

  • Oct 23 & Nov 6: 12:15 - 12:45 p.m.
  • Oct 28 & Nov 13: 13:15 - 13:45 p.m.

Price:

  • Staff $10/class or $30/4 classes 
  • Student $5/class or $15/4 classes

Important note: Registration is required and payment must be made in advance.

 

50/50 draws

Get a chance to win 50% of the lot while the other 50% goes to Centraide. Tickets can be bought until 12 p.m. on October 18th and 12 p.m. on November 29th for the 2nd draw.

Price: $2 for 1 ticket - $5 for 3 tickets

 

Bake sale

Sweet tooth, meet Sugar. Sugar meet Sweet tooth!

Get your vegan, gluten-free, sweet and salty treats at our bake sale on November 14th between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at CCE’S reception area!

 

Kirtan

Join us to sing together with spiritual songs of the world on November 27th between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m.

Price: Voluntary donation (Suggested $10)

All proceeds collected will go directly to Centraide.
