Cancellation policy

For First Aid & CPR (8 hours)

If you are unable to attend the training session please email Emergency Management at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled date at emergency.management@concordia.ca

Please note: Cancellations made by telephone will not be accepted.

  • Training participants whose cancellation request is received more than 48 hours prior to the training session date, will not incur a cancellation fee. 
  • Training participants who cancel less than 48 hours of the scheduled session or fail to attend the training session will incur a 25$ cancellation fee upon their next subscription. 

For Workplace First Aid/CPR (16 hours)

This course is only open to CERT trained employees of Concordia University only. A minimum of 6 full business days notice is required for cancellations for this course. Failure to provide appropriate notice will result in a fee being charged to your department should your absence impact minimum attendance requirements. Contact emergency.management@concordia.ca for current cancellation fees.


Course cancellation by the Security Department

Should it be necessary for the Security Department to cancel a course due to low enrollment, instructor illness, lack of available venue or defective equipment, your registration will be transferred to another course.
