Requesting official transcripts
COVID-19
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the closure of campuses, official transcript services have changed. Please read the following information:
- Requests for official transcripts can only be made online through MyConcordia > My Student Center or by sending the completed PDF request form by Fax to 514-848-2837.
- Transcripts destined to other institutions in Quebec will be sent electronically.
- Transcripts can also be sent by email to institutions outside of Quebec.
NOTE: You must provide the institution’s email address on the online request form. Verify that the receiving institution will accept a pdf transcript sent via email directly to them from Concordia as official. Most Canadian universities have agreed to accept pdf transcripts sent from Concordia to them via email and have provided us an official email address. (Please note: One email address per request). Your transcript will be sent to the institution by email if you follow these steps on the online form:- Select “Regular Mail” as the delivery method.
- Add the institution’s email address in the “Send To” field AND in the “Student Comments” field.
- Official transcripts can also be sent by regular mail.
Paper copy processed within 7 business days. Please note that Canada Post mail service may be slower than normal due to the Covid-19 situation.
- Official transcripts can be sent by courier service.
Additional charges apply. Paper copy processed within 7 business days or less. - Official transcripts CANNOT be picked-up as campuses are closed.
If you had previously requested a transcript for pick-up before the closure on March 13, 2020, you will unfortunately have to wait until the campus re-opens or send us an email at transcripts@concordia.ca and request to have it mailed to you. You may wish to download a PDF of the unofficial transcript from your Student Center to use in the meantime. - For urgent matters, please send us an email at: transcripts@concordia.ca
- We can send official transcripts directly to the institution requiring them.
- We can also place the transcript in a sealed envelope and either mail it to you, or
- You can pick it up at the Enrolment Services office.
- You can select a Complete Undergrad/Grad* transcript (this transcript includes all of the academic studies (undergraduate and/or graduate) you have undertaken, or
- You can select a Graduate Studies Only transcript (this transcript displays only the graduate level studies you have undertaken.
