Systemic racism and identity-based violence
Concordia’s initiatives show its commitment to combatting systemic racism and identity-based violence (IBV).
- The Black Presence Hub provides relevant resources and fosters community.
- The Black Perspectives Office implements the President’s Task Force on Anti-Black Racism recommendations.
- STRIVE works to strengthen anti-discrimination efforts, address IBV and ensure structures are in place to address polarization while celebrating diversity.

This Hub at the Centre for Teaching and Learning provides Indigenous evidence-based research, tools and resources to re-frame curricula and pedagogical practices in ways that promote critical discourse, analysis and integration of Indigenous Peoples’ diverse knowledge systems.
