Students must:

  • Be an undergraduate or graduate student at a Canadian academic institution
  • Not be a current, active participant in another Mitacs program

Academic supervisor must:

  • Be eligible to hold Tri-Council funding

Partner organizations must:

  • Be a company with full-time employees or be an incorporated NFP

Value and duration: 

  • 16-week internship with a grant of $10,000 per student

How to apply

Students may either seek out their own partner organizations, or refer to the list of currently available organizations below.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis as long as funding remains available.

Step 1: Please submit your CVs to the organization contact, if listed, as soon as possible if one of these projects interests you.
