Dr. John Potvin is giving a McNeil Seminar lecture at Wellesley College

On November 17, Dr. John Potvin is giving the McNeil Seminar lecture "The Materials of Shame: Decoration, masculinity and the birth of modern interior design" at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Dr. Potvin’s research often focuses on the ways that masculinity, dissident sexualities, and the depictions, conventions, and lived realities of the male body influence and manifest in visual and design culture in post-19th century Europe and the United States.
