Job description
The research fellow will assist with two projects at the Feminist Media Studio. First, the fellow will be responsible for co-organizing a working group, organizing speakers and archiving talks on the FMS website. Second, the fellow will be responsible for drafting (alongside the PI) a team grant with the FRQSC to ensure the long-term sustainability of the working group.
Responsibilities will include
- Organization of working group associated with Necessary Feminisms grant
- Assistance in drafting FRQSC Equipe en Emergence grant
- Co-organization of speaker series
- Other research tasks as outlined by Principal Investigator
Qualifications/skills required
- PhD in hand at time of employment
- A strong research background at the intersection of feminist media studies and the environmental humanities
- Grant writing skills
- Experience organizing academic events
