Fine Arts in Colombia
Professor Ricardo Dal Farra, an associate professor in Music in the Faculty of Fine Arts, will offer the students, from a variety of backgrounds in the arts, an opportunity to earn 3 credits and to work on self-proposed research-creation projects and experience the city of Manizales, Colombia.
Rwanda Field School in Engineering and Sustainable Development
The Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science, the Centre for Engineering in Society, and Concordia International are pleased to offer the intensive course ENCS 485 – Field School in Engineering and Sustainable Development. The 2019 edition of this new course will focus on Rwanda.
Teaterøen | Theatre Island Urban Scenographies
Summer Short-Term Program in Copenhagen, Denmark
The Faculty of Fine Arts and Concordia International are pleased to offer a new short-term program at Teaterøen | Theatre Island in Copenhagen, Denmark. This exciting interdisciplinary program offers students the opportunity to earn 3 Concordia credits while spending approximately 17 days in Denmark. Shauna Janssen, Assistant Professor, Department of Theatre, will lead the course.
Azrieli Institute’s Summer in Jerusalem
The Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies is pleased to offer the Azrieli Institute Summer in Jerusalem program in collaboration with Concordia International. This exciting program provides you with the opportunity to earn credit while attending Hebrew University’s Rothberg International School with students from around the world.
Make in Japan: Short-Term Design Field School
The Faculty of Fine Arts and Concordia International are pleased to offer a new short-term Design field school program in Japan. This exciting program offers students the opportunity to earn 3 Concordia credits while spending approximately 17 days in Japan. Program participants will select a specific topic related to their research interests and will perform a thorough study and analysis of the Japanese traits and characteristics of the topic during their trip to Japan, leading to the development of a creative project and prototype influenced by the research.
Concordia in Prague
The Faculty of Fine Arts and Concordia International are pleased to offer a new short-term summer program, Concordia in Prague 2019. This exciting program offers students the opportunity to earn 3 Concordia credits. Students will attend the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space where they will encounter a wide range of designers, artists, and scenographers through exhibitions, workshops and lectures.
Short-term Artist Residency at Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center, Denmark
The Faculty of Fine Arts and Concordia International are pleased to offer a new summer ceramics field school at Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center for undergraduate and graduate students. Located in a beautiful large park at the edge of a picturesque Danish town on the coast of the North Sea, the setting is ideal for students to be able to focus on producing new work in ceramics.
Concordia in China
Concordia International in collaboration with the Department of Classics, Modern Languages and Linguistics (CMLL) are pleased to offer the Concordia in China Program for Summer 2019. This exciting program provides students from Concordia and other universities the opportunity to participate in an educational and cultural immersion in Beijing while earning 9 credits.
