Jesuit Residence

In 1969 Jesuit priests, the owners and founders of Concordia University's founding institution Loyola College, moved from their cramped residence facilities in the Administration Building into the new seven-storey Jesuit Residence on the northwest corner of the campus. The Jesuit Order owned the building independently. Concordia purchased the property in 2001 and it was vacated in 2004.

The renovated residence facility began operations for the 2006-07 academic year. It includes 52 furnished bedrooms on 6 floors, and a top floor with common areas including conference rooms and eating areas, and in the basement a laundry room and a games room. One main-floor room is equipped for a special needs student. Each room has its own bathroom and comes equipped with a double bed and a small fridge.

The Jesuit Residence and the Grey Nuns Residence are available for summer rentals to students, individual travelers and conference groups.
