Applied Science Hub

Building overview
The Applied Science Hub is a state-of-the-art facility on Loyola Campus that opened in December 2020. The hub expands on the Richard J. Renaud Science Complex and reflects Concordia’s commitment to interdisciplinary research and sustainable design.
This LEED Gold–certified building includes four floors of high-tech labs and collaborative spaces, supporting research in agriculture, health, sustainability and engineering. Facilities include equipment for aquatic biology, cellular imaging, nanoscience, bioprocessing and more.
The Applied Science Hub also houses the District 3 Innovation Hub, where students, researchers and entrepreneurs can collaborate on scaling up ideas and startups with real-world impact.
