Building overview

The F.C. Smith Building is a multi-use space at Loyola Campus, best known today as home to the Loyola Chapel. Opened in 1933, the building has received a heritage designation from the City of Montreal.

The Loyola Chapel offers a beautiful and quiet non-denominational environment, open to people of all faiths for reflection, celebration and community events. The building also hosts classes, events and other activities connected to student life and the broader university community.
