D Annex

Location: 2140 Bishop St.

Building overview

This row house was built in 1891 as a twin to the neighbouring MI Annex, also featuring red Scottish sandstone and Romanesque-inspired detailing.

After years as a private residence, it was acquired by Concordia in 1971 and now houses the Department of Theological Studies. Its distinct gabled roofline and original bay windows hint at its 19th-century residential roots.
