Moshe Lander awarded Newsmaker of the Month

The Department of Economics congratulates Moshe Lander, Senior Lecturer in Economics, on being named Concordia Newsmaker of the Month for April 2022. Professor Lander shared his expertise in both print and broadcast media on many economics topics, including inflation, the Bank of Canada, the state of Canada's economy, the federal budget, housing prices and the economics of the World Cup.

Recognised for the fifth time as Newsmaker of the Month, Professor Lander is also among the candidates for the 2021-22 President’s Media Outreach Award and is a two-time winner of Concordia's Media Commentator of the Year (2020 and 2021).
