Economics Graduate Research Day
An annual event hosted by the Department of Economics, offering graduate students a platform to showcase their research.
MA and PhD Economics students are invited to present completed or ongoing projects, from MA papers and theses to course-based research, dissertation chapters, or other Economics-related work.
The Department thanks the Economics Graduate Students Association (EGSA) for its valued support.

Eligibility
- All active MA and PhD students (must be active in the current term)
Format
- Each participant will have 5 minutes to present.
- Presentations will be held in-person in H-1145
- Include up to 5 slides in PowerPoint or PDF format. One title slide followed by three slides of content and one reference slide is recommended.
- Presentations should include an introduction, objectives and model(s), results, and conclusion.

Prizes
- The Economics Graduate Student Association (EGSA) is sponsoring a Most Popular Presentation award! Determined by the audience by popular vote, the recipient will be awarded a 150$ cash prize.
- First- and second-place prize recipients will be selected by the jury and will receive the following cash prize. This year’s first-place prize will be awarded in memory of Prof. Damba Lkhagvasuren:
- First place: the Damba Lkhagvasuren Memorial Prize: 400$
- Second place: 250$
