Marcela Torres

Marcela Torres is a Colombian architect and urban designer, and doctoral candidate at Concordia University’s Doctoral Program in Art History. She holds a master’s degree in building and urban design from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.

Her research interests include community-based art, socially engaged art, collaborative practices, activism in post-conflict scenarios.  

Thesis Title: Women and Places of Memory: A history of community-based art and the conflict in Colombia (2010-2022)
