Georgia Phillips-Amos

Phillips-Amos's research examines anomalous archives and absurdist practice in contemporary art. Her art criticism has appeared in BOMB, Border Crossings, the Brooklyn Rail, C Magazine, Canadian Art, and the Village Voice, among others.

Prior to starting the PhD program she lived in New York, where she worked most recently in publishing as Co-Director of Publicity at New Directions. Georgia completed her MA in Latin American Studies at Utrecht University (2012), and her BA in Anthropology and Art History at the University College of Utrecht (2010).
