Niki

John Molson School of Business

Whether it’s directions, feeling unsafe or just needing someone to walk or vibe with for a bit — I’m here to help, no pressure, no judgment.

What made you want to join the Student Safety Patrol?

I love meeting new people and trying new things, especially when they push me out of my comfort zone. Helping others has always been something that comes naturally to me.

What’s one thing you want students to know about the Student Safety Patrol?

The Student Safety Patrol is made up of students, not staff, and that makes a big difference. We're here as peers to support, listen and help create a safer, more welcoming space for everyone. Campus safety doesn’t just come from uniforms or authority. It starts with students looking out for each other.

Fun fact or favorite hobby?

I might be small, but I’m seriously into basketball. I’m also a huge nerd for motorcycles and cars — just give me an open road and I’m happy. Outside of that, I’m into self-growth, good playlists and keeping my energy right.

You can talk to me about anything. I’m here to help and listen!

What’s one thing you want students to know about the Student Safety Patrol?

One thing I want students to know is that the Student Safety Patrol is here to support and protect them — we’re a friendly, visible presence on campus dedicated to ensuring everyone feels safe and welcome.

What’s something you love about campus life?

I love that there is a sense of community — meeting people from diverse backgrounds, engaging in events and being part of a vibrant, supportive environment that encourages personal and academic growth.

Fun fact or favorite hobby?

I enjoy reading thrillers and exploring cybersecurity topics in my free time.

Yassen

I wanted to be a part of something that helps students and staff feel safe and to contribute to the Concordia community.

What’s one thing you want students to know about the Student Safety Patrol?

We’re here as a support presence — you can always approach us if you need help or feel unsafe, but we’re not involved in handling dangerous situations directly.

What’s something you love about campus life?

I love how active and vibrant it is. There's always something going on.

Fun fact or favorite hobby?

I’m really into music, especially hip hop and R&B, and I love going to concerts whenever I can.
