CAMPUS SAFETY AWARENESS BBQ
Campus Safety and Prevention Services is holding it's annual BBQ this Thursday September 21, 2023 in the Loyola Quadrangle. The goal of the Campus Safety BBQ is to draw attention to the ways you can stay connected and informed about emergencies that may affect you during your time at Concordia.
Come check out kiosks, gather useful safety information like how to respond in an emergency, including who to call and how to get emergency alerts from the university, enjoy some freebies and get the chance to meet the Campus Safety and Prevention Services team, including our new therapy dog, Newton.
Participants will also get to gear up in a real bunker suit and undertake our fire fighter and security challenges. This year, we are bringing back our famous Fire Fighter obstacle. Prizes will be awarded to students, faculty and staff who can successfully manoeuver through the course the fastest.
This event is open to all Students, Staff, Faculty and Visitors. Free food will be offered for those that have the Rave Guardian app on their phones!
