Sustainability Perspectives

This interdisciplinary microprogram blends theory and practice through a combination of intensive in-person lectures followed by part-time remote case studies which give students the chance to gain hands-on experience and apply theory to practice. Course material covers the toughest challenges we face today, including climate change, sustainable cities, corporate governance, engaged artistic practice and responsible citizenship.

Undergraduate

Computational Physics

Gain hands-on programming experience and computational problem-solving skills for science and engineering, with this 6-credit interdisciplinary program, designed to bridge the gap between theoretical science and practical software programming. 

Economic Policy

Indigenous Land-Based Education

In this microprogram, you will gain the skills, knowledge and attitudes that are unique to land-based programs though Indigenous ways of knowing. Indigenous and non-Indigenous learners will have opportunities to participate in land-based activities and examine the theoretical underpinnings of Indigenous-led, land-based teaching.

It is a gateway to engaging into the domain of education for innovation, helping you become a confident innovator, equipped to address current issues and trends in the Innovation sector, and make a difference in Québec, Canada and beyond.

Jewish Studies

Sustainability Principles

The Microprogram in Sustainability Principles allows students to explore the concept and practice of sustainability through a selection of hand-picked courses in the social sciences, sciences, and humanities, examining environmental sustainability, policy, and values. As a member of the Loyola College for Diversity and Sustainability, you’ll be working alongside other students from across the university with the goal of communicating across disciplines and becoming agents of positive environmental change. Note that no scientific background is required for this program.
