Graduate research photo contest

“Climate change around the bend” by Brian Gallagher, 1st year winner

Capture your research in a snap!

Graduate research in the Faculty of Arts and Science is bold, creative, and transformative.

Each year, the Graduate Research Photo Contest invites master’s and doctoral students to showcase their innovative research through a single striking image. Participants are encouraged to capture a compelling photo that reflects the essence, impact, or process of their work, paired with a short, plain-language description.

"Curiosity Meets Comfort", by Ryan Ura, 2nd place, Fall 2024

"A Rite of Limbo Between Virtual and Real", by Ozgem Elif Acar, Media Studies, MA
