How to apply

With today's digital landscape awash with misinformation, credible and accurate science reporting is critical. Through our Minor in Science Journalism, learn to effectively communicate science and health topics.

If you are a new student applying to Concordia:
If you are a current Concordia BSc student:

Deadlines

March 1 is the deadline to apply for Fall term entry. International students are encouraged to apply by February 1.

Late applications from current BSc students will be considered if places are still available.

Additional requirements

Note that these requirements are necessary for new applicants and current Concordia students.

Letter of intent (500 words double spaced, written in English):
  • Introduce yourself to the admissions committee. Tell us about yourself. 
  • Note your Concordia BSc program. This can be a program you are applying to or the BSc program you are currently studying in at Concordia.
  • Explain why you want to study science journalism, your academic/professional interests, and any other relevant information.
