Connect with fellow new students and the Welcome Crew during two days of fun social activities and campus tours.

Come by the EV Building Atrium and MB Building Lobby to meet new friends, tour campus, and take part in Concordia's CU At The Finish Line game on August 30 and 31. 

 

9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

 

Open to all new undergraduate and graduate students who will be starting their first year this fall.

What to expect: 

A mentor speaking to a students at the check-in table
  • When you arrive for the event, check-in at the Welcome table near the EV Building entrance. Pass by the campus tours and CU at the Finish Line game tables to reserve your ticket.
  • Consult the event details below for the different activities; including meet a friend sessions, campus tours, social lounge and Concordia's first CU At The Finish Line game!
  • Don't forget to pass by our FREE coffee and churros station.

Join Meet a friend session

Looking to make friends as you start your university journey? We've got you. Meet a friend or two via icebreakers and games facilitated by our Welcome Crew mentors. 

Space is limited, registration is required. For details and to register, check the events that apply to you below.

Take a Campus tour

Discover the best study and hangout spots as well as the different facilities you’ll be accessing through your academic program. 

First come, first serve. Please reserve your ticket at the tours table as early as 9:30 a.m. For departure times and location, consult the events below.

Drop by Social lounge 

Get excited for the beginning of term and connect with peers and the Welcome Crew. Chat with Homeroom student facilitators, connect with Zen Dens' student ambassadors and learn about the Multi-Faith and Sprituality Centre - all through fun activities and icebreakers. 

Check events below for more details. Drop by anytime from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m on both August 30 and 31.

Take part in CU At The Finish Line game

What's a better way to kick-off your first term than to take part in a scavenger hunt adventure with peers? Come to campus to play in our CU At The Finish Line game on August 31. Team up with fellow new students to solve a series of puzzles - ranging from crosswords to Morse code riddles - for a chance to win!

How it works:  

  • Spots in each game are limited. Please reserve a ticket at the CU At The Finish Line tickets table in EV Atrium on any of the CONNECT Orientation days (August 30 or 31). 
  • Plan in advance and check the SGW and LOY game schedules and start times.
  • Check event below for more details on what to expect on game day.
