I can not attend a workshop I am registered for; will I be penalized?

Every workshop has a drop deadline that is listed on the workshop description. We ask you to drop the worshop in advance of this drop deadline to avoid being penalized and to allow us to offer your spot to another student from the waitlist.

For Winter 2021, we are exceptionally waiving our non-attendance fees, however students who repeatly do not adhere to the drop deadline, will be removed from all future workshops for which they are registered.

If you need to miss a workshop for a valid reason and you are past the drop deadline, please email and include appropriate documentation. Remember to include your full name, student ID number as well as workshop code. For example, for a medical emergency, please include a doctor's note attesting your inability to attend school during the time of the workshop.

How do I drop a workshop?

Please note: Students dropping a workshop must do so within the deadline, otherwise they will be marked as Did Not Attend (DNA) and penalized.

Can I have a webinar recording or record a workshop?

In an effort to create a safe classroom where participants feel comfortable sharing their experience, and to protect the copyright of our materials, we do not share the recordings of our webinars, unless otherwise stated at the begining of the webinar.  Similarly, participants are not permitted to record in-person workshops or screen-capture our webinars.

If you have accessibility needs that require you to have a recording, please contact us to discuss how we can accomodate your request.  For the majority of our workshops, we do share PowerPoint slides and handouts after the workshop.
