In-program funding
Funding to help you disseminate your research and enhance your graduate program experience.

Conference and exposition allowance
Registered graduate students can receive funding to present at major scholarly conferences, or artistic exhibitions in a peer-reviewed or juried context. We encourage students to disseminate their research, acquire professional and practical experience as well as enhance Concordia’s profile in the external research community.

Stand-Out Graduate Research Award
Valued at $1,000, the bi-annual competition recognizes exceptional research projects based at Concordia, which have been released to the public in the eight months prior to the deadline date. All students must have applied to the Relève Étoile Awards, in order to be eligible to apply for the Stand-Out Graduate Research Award.

Parental-Leave Supplement Award
The award provides financial support to international graduate students taking a parental leave of absence to allow them some breathing room without the added stress of thinking they may not have the financial means to interrupt or complete their studies.

Fund your international project
Help finance your international exchange, internship, research abroad or short-term course with a variety of funding programs, bursaries or fellowships.

External funding
Current research-based graduate students are encouraged to apply for awards administered by federal and provincial governments, as well as foundations and other organizations. We also offer coaching and support to help you produce a strong funding application.
