In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, requests that were previously made in-person at the Birks Student Service Centre can now be made online. In very specific cases, an in-person appointment can be reserved. Below you will find key information and steps to follow to make these requests.

In-person appointments can only be scheduled via the MyConcordia portal. MyConcordia.ca > Student Services > Birks Appointment Booking
You must have a valid netname. If you encounter any difficulties with your netname and/or password, please contact our service desk.
As campuses are closed, transcripts cannot be picked-up, mailed* (unless the request meets the criteria listed in the paragraph below). If you had previously requested a transcript for pick-up, you will unfortunately have to wait until the campus re-opens. You may wish to download a PDF of the unofficial transcript from your Student Center to use in the meantime.
*Canadian Immigration applications (Permanent Residency or Temporary Resident Visas (TRV) by paper application only): Students who require an official transcript for their immigration application may be eligible to receive a printed copy of their official transcript by mail. One of our staff members has been permitted to work on campus one day a week to process these special requests. Students who need a printed copy of their transcript for their immigration application will have to upload proof of their immigration application with their transcript request in order for our office to produce and mail the printed transcript. Please note that Canada Post mail service is slower than normal due to the Covid-19 situation.
Transcripts destined to other universities in Quebec will be sent electronically.
Official transcripts can be sent electronically to institutions outside of Quebec if the institution’s e-mail address is included in the request. Please verify with the institution that it will be accepted in this format. (Please note: One email address per request).
Replacement diplomas: Please see our diplomas website for more information and for the necessary forms. You can submit your request and provide a sworn statement at Birks by appointment. There is a $100 fee for a replacement diploma.
Certified copy of diploma (degree conferred prior to May 2020): Your original diploma is required for this service. The Birks team will issue a copy onsite at a cost of $10 per copy.
