Interlibrary loan and scan and deliver services now available directly in Sofia

Following the introduction in May of a new network loans service that easily allows members of the Concordia community to request books from other Quebec university libraries within the Sofia Discovery tool, further integration of two services is available.

Interlibrary loan service

Interlibrary loan (ILL) requests for materials not available at Concordia Library or held outside of the network of Quebec university libraries are now made directly in the Sofia Discovery tool. From searching to requesting, all new ILL requests will be tracked in your Sofia “My Account.” For more information, check out the Library’s Interlibrary Loans web page.

Article/Chapter Scan & Deliver service

Book chapter and journal article scans from the library’s print collection can now be requested and tracked in Sofia. Look for the “Chapter Scan” button when viewing items in Sofia and use the button for journal article and book chapter scans.
