Getting started: BA Economics
Welcome to our newly admitted BA students!
Get started as a new student in our BA in Economics (Major, Specialization, or Honours) by completing these steps:
- Accept your offer of admission and pay the confirmation deposit in your CU Account
- Register for an FAS Touchstone Economics session.
- The department will unblock you once you have attended a full FAS Touchstone Economics session.
- Once unblocked (this might take up to 48 hours), register for your classes in your Student Hub, using our recommended course selection for first-year students and the Registration guide
IMPORTANT NOTE: One-on-one appointments with the Economics advisor will only be permitted after you have attended a full Touchtone Economics session.
- Keep track of your program and degree requirements with our Degree requirements checklist downloadable from this page.
- If you attended a Touchstone session but still have questions relating to your academic progress in the Economics program, you can book an appointment with the Economics undergraduate advisor or email econ.advising@concordia.ca.
