We’re engineering a more sustainable future.
In our labs we get everyday harmless microbes found in plants, fungus and yeast to produce things that they normally wouldn’t: biofuels, medications and even food.
By tinkering with the microbes we can design safe, sustainable, and cost-effective alternatives for the production of goods currently made with harmful chemicals.
We’d like to engage public stakeholders in a dialogue about the benefits and challenges of our field.
